Since graduating in the top 10 percent of his class from the Case Western Reserve University School of law in 1990, Ron Mingus has had extensive first-chair experience in representing defendants in civil litigation. Early in his career, Ron defended governmental entities and their employees in lawsuits involving claims of civil rights violations, personal injury, and wrongful death. For the past nine years, Ron has devoted the majority of his practice to the defense of physicians, dentists, hospitals and nursing homes in medical malpractice lawsuits.

Mr. Mingus has had over 70 trials and arbitrations involving medical malpractice, dental malpractice, police civil rights, personal injury and general liability. He has been an invited speaker at risk management programs for healthcare professionals and has taught continuing education for attorneys on the subject of medical malpractice litigation.
