Prior to commencing his legal career, John Patrick obtained his degree in accounting and practiced as a tax accountant. While attending law school, he also enrolled in graduate classes so that he was able to simultaneously obtain his law degree and his master's degree in taxation. Consequently, John concentrates his practice in business and tax related areas of law. These areas include estate planning, business and corporate planning and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisition, development, sales and leases and probate, estate and trust administration.

John is a featured speaker to attorneys and professionals as well as to the public on the technical and practical aspects of his practice. He is also involved with the Ohio Bar Association, Cleveland Bar Association and The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland.
