Jim Turek is the Chairman of the firm's Trucking and Commercial Transportation Practice Group. Since joining the firm as a law clerk during his first year of law school, Jim has specialized in the defense of truck companies and their insurers in matters both routine and catastrophic. He has tried over sixty jury trials throughout the State of Ohio, as well as in the Federal District courts. Jim has also appeared before the Ohio Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his extensive trial experience, Jim has performed hundreds of 'on-scene' accident investigations and is in charge of the firms 24-hour emergency response team. He is a featured speaker to peer and industry groups on topics related to transportation litigation.
